Ibn Hazam's View on Soulmates

currently i was surfing some other templates,CUTE one of course.. just to get some facelift . Trying to create new atmosphere in my bloggy here. After some downloading, unzipping some files of templates, then I started to realized. I think I want the old one. Perhaps, it doesnt matter at all. Dont ever judge a book by its cover, I guess. It doesnt matter how you look, what matters is the content you're up for.rite. So, enough for now... be satisfy with what you have. Allah always give, human gets and forgets. Nauzubillah...

owh, I just view this article..nicely written, it is about Ibn Hazam's view on soulmates. So, let me have a guess, who are your soulmates? Perhaps, some of us have this what so called pakwe, makwe  rite. But do we aware WHO are our truly soulmates is. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, lets read this together..

Ibn Hazm becomes soft when talking about love; he doesn’t seem like the strict faqeeh that some imagine him to be.
He believes that souls are scattered matters in heaven that meet and descend to earth and join together as soul mates.
His theory of love is based on assimilations and similarity in characteristics between lovers; the first part is jesting and the last part is earnestness.
Muslim scholars on the theories of love:
Imam Ibn Hazm:
· He explained in Tawq al-Hamaamah that love does not start on earth but on heaven
· Souls meet in the upper universe before they meet on earth. He said:
“Love is scattered parts of souls in the universe. Souls would meet in upper universe, before you meet on earth.” This established during the meethaq that all souls made with Allah testifying that Allah is our Lord.
“When thy Lord drew forth from the children of Adam — from their loins — their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves (saying): “Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?” They said: “Yea! we do testify!” (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: “of this we were never mindful” (alQur’an 7:172).
This theory is based on the following Hadith:
Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) said:“Souls are troops collected together and those who familiarized with each other (in the heaven from where these come) would have affinity with one another (in the world) and those amongst them who opposed each other (in the Heaven) would also be divergent (in the world)” (Muslim).
